The Editorial Team SDG10 – Reduced Inequalities at Global Society News (GSN) examines the social and economic disparities that limit opportunity and human potential worldwide. The team brings together journalists, economists, and policy researchers who analyse inequality in income, access, and representation, while exploring policies and initiatives that support fairer and more inclusive societies.
Sustainable Development Goal 10 (SDG10) – Reduced Inequalities, established under the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, aims to reduce inequality within and among countries. It promotes the social, economic, and political inclusion of all people, regardless of age, gender, disability, race, ethnicity, origin, religion, or economic status, while supporting fair access to resources, migration policies, and decision-making processes.
Although progress has been made in poverty reduction and education, inequality remains deeply rooted. Wealth concentration, limited representation, and structural barriers continue to affect marginalised communities, weakening social cohesion, democracy, and sustainable economic development.
The Editorial Team SDG10 at GSN explores these issues through investigative reporting, economic analysis, and collaboration with international organisations, human rights groups, and academic institutions. Its coverage highlights inclusive economic policies, progressive taxation, community empowerment, migration, disability rights, gender equality, and youth participation.
