Global Society News is inviting thought leaders, innovators, and experts in attendance at the UN Leaders Summit and Climate Week in New York (September 21–28, 2025) to share their insights, reflections, and unique perspectives in a  special feature to be published shortly after the New York gatherings. 

We are curating a collection of articles, filled with insights and commentaries, that seek to capture the pulse of the discussions, highlight the personal experiences of those attending, and shed light on their areas of expertise in relation to the global development agenda. 

As the climate crisis escalates, more and more questions continue to go unanswered. Whether you are speaking at an official UN event, hosting a side session, or attending as an observer, we would like to hear your perspective: 

·      What’s the current status of the global sustainable development effort? 

·      What should be the main priorities for the global community to focus on?  

·      What ideas, solutions, or commitments stood out at the UN Leaders Summit, or at Climate Week? 

·      What emerging trends or alliances could reshape the climate and global development agenda in the next 5–10 years? 

·      Were there any blind spots or overlooked topics that deserve more global attention? 

·      How can we bridge the gap between ambitious pledges and measurable action? 

·      What role should local communities and indigenous knowledge play in global strategy?  

·      How can business, policy, and civil society better collaborate to accelerate solutions?

·      Submit a commentary or expert article 

·      Share insights in a one-on-one interview with our editorial team 

·      Contribute quotes and key takeaways for our special feature
