About

The Editorial Team SDG4 – Quality Education at Global Society News (GSN) reports on education as a foundation for peace, prosperity, and sustainable development. The team brings together writers, researchers, and education specialists who examine the policies, innovations, and human stories shaping learning systems worldwide.

Sustainable Development Goal 4 (SDG4) – Quality Education, established under the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, aims to ensure free, equitable, and quality primary and secondary education for all. It also promotes lifelong learning, vocational training, and digital literacy as essential tools for social inclusion and economic opportunity.

Education has advanced significantly in recent decades, with higher enrolment rates, improved literacy, and more children attending school. Yet millions remain excluded because of poverty, displacement, conflict, discrimination, or the growing digital divide. These inequalities continue to affect rural communities, marginalised groups, and girls in particular.

The Editorial Team SDG4 at GSN examines these challenges through data-informed journalism, field research, and collaboration with educators, policymakers, and international organisations. Its work highlights inclusive education models, teacher training, technological innovation, and successful initiatives that help close learning gaps and improve educational quality.

Aligned with the principles of UNESCO and the broader vision of the United Nations, the Editorial Team SDG4 reaffirms that education is both a human right and a cornerstone of freedom and democracy. By advancing the message of “Quality Education”, the team promotes informed dialogue on accessible, adaptive, and future-oriented learning systems.
